Los Angeles based Trumpet player/ Composer Russ Mullen steps out front as leader with the Jazz Associates on his first CD for Rhombus Records "Metro Mile".

Russ debuts a set off all original Jazz tunes with the Jazz Associates; Harley Lipton, Flute, Tenor and Soprano Saxes, Denis Gobeille, Guitar, Steve Donovan, Keyboards, Steve Sadd, Bass, and Inskip Dasent, Drums and Percussion, with Russ on Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Trombone, Valve Trombone and Euphonium.

Russ and the Jazz associates will be touring the West Coast in support of "Metro Mile" starting Feb. 2008, for Bookings contact Rhombus Records.

Miami based Keyboardist / Composer Mike Levine presents his first CD as leader "From The Heart" for Rhombus Records. All tunes were composed by Mike except the standard "Thats All" sung by Dana Paul. The CD combines Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Latin styles to craft his unique south Florida sound. The band on "From The Heart" includes Mike on keyboards with some of the hottest musicians in the Miami area, featuring special guests Hiram Bullock on Guitar and Vocals and Ed Calle on Sax.

Mike was a member of the Ross/Levine Band who released a album in the 80's called "That Summer Something" that featured Pat Methany and garnered much critical aclaim from the Jazz press and Radio.

Now its Mike's tun to step out front as leader on "From The Heart".

Melody Breyer-Grell's sophomore CD, "Fascinatin' Rhythms" is a follow-up to her award-winning debut CD, "The Right Time". Her first CD not only received glowing reviews but received the honor of being selected by the critic's poll of All About Jazz-New York (top five no order) Best vocal CD of 2004.

This new release for Rhombus,"Facinatin' Rhythms" is a meditation on the beauty and flexibility of the Gershwin's vocal music with a sprinkling of some of George's classical themes. "I was amazed at how 'modular' his music is" Melody says. "The popular and classic elements just seem to fuse together naturally."

The native New Yorker attended conservatories (Manhattan School of Music, The Curtis Institute) from the age of 12, but although passionate about classical music, felt that her destiny was elsewhere. Here it is!

Southern Florida Multi-Instrumentalist / Vocalist Richie Bartolo presents a program of his original compositions on his first solo CD “Collage” for Rhombus Records.

Richie plays Rhythm and Lead Guitar, Slide Guitar, Steel Drums, Flute, Harmonica and does all lead vocals. Original songs range from Island Music (Island Girl) to light rock (Hurricane) all done in Richie’s own unique style.
